Joseph P. Mockler

Joe is a graduate of the University of Toronto (B.A., 1987) and the University of British Columbia (LL.B., 1990). He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1991. Joe practises in the areas of corporate and commercial insolvency, banking law, the enforcement of creditors' rights and creditor priorities. He acts for and advises financial institutions respecting security, debt restructuring, and recovery. He also regularly advises chartered banks on issues of banker-client rights and obligations. Joe is a member of the Banking and Insolvency Subsections of the British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.

Joe is one of the contributing authors of British Columbia Creditors' Remedies, published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. In addition, Joe has lectured for the British Columbia bar admission course on Personal Property Security Act issues.
